Sarah Palin in 2012; Your kidding, right?

You know I kind of knew this was going to happen. The dust has not even settled on the Election, Obama hasn’t even been sworn in to office, and the Republican party is already gushing over Sarah Palin and how she is going to be the ideal candidate to challenge Obama in 2012.

I read this article about Sarah’s return to Alaska and the reaction she received. As she got off the plane, people screaming “2012, 2012″. Now I don’t know if this was just a bunch of over zealous party line republicans who have been with her from the start but this is the kind of BS that makes me wonder how the Republican party expects to get any respect in the future.

First, lets not forget the great memories that Sarah Palin provided during this campaign that I can remember:

• She is qualified in foreign relations because of the fact that Alaska is located fairly close to Russia geographically.
• When being interviewed and asked about the Bush doctrines, instead of admitting that she was not familiar with them, she guessed, on national TV. WTF?!?
• Fox News releases a note that during a campaign video, Palin had an interview where she did not know that Africa was a continent and not a country.
• Her idea of fiscal responsibility is spending $100,000+ on clothing for her and her family after describing her “normal” lifestyle hillbilly’ish.

I can not understand how, in a party where there are numerous people who are more than qualified, that they have to whore out a hot Governor for the sake of getting attention. You can say she is reuniting the Republican party all you want, but this Republican is not buying it. I voted for Obama and will do so in 2012 if this is the shit I have to vote for.
